MPG Propylene Glycol is a clear, colorless, almost odorless, slightly viscous, low volatile liquid. Its purity is as high as 99.7 percent , and it is water-soluble and hygroscopic. Therefore, it is completely soluble in water and most organic solvents.

 

 

1. Pharmaceutical engineering: MPG Propylene Glycol is used as a solvent for insoluble or water-soluble stabilized drugs to increase their stability. It is also used as a solvent and excipient in the manufacture of various types of ointments and creams.
2. Propylene Glycol acts as a moisturizer and antifungal agent in tobacco.
